HISTORY OF COMPANY

Choice Food Distributors was established in December 2005 with its foundation being the merger between the operations and mangement teams of two Nashville institutions, Nashville Egg and Gibson Food Products. Together, they brought over 70 years of combined business experience in the food distribution inudstry to our business infrastructure.

When Choice Food, Distributors organized, it opened operations within Nashville Egg’s warehouse facility at 6167 Cockrill Bend Circle, a location they have been operating out of since 2000. Gibson Food Product’s distribution center was relocated from Hendersonville.

In May 2005, Choice Food of America (CFA) was established. Through its affiliation with CFA, Choice Food Distributors has the manufacturing facilities and capabilities to provide such products as: chilies, stews, pastas, condensed soups, has, beans & franks, beans & rice, sauces, baking mixes, condiments, and dressings.

In March 2007, Hobson Food Service was added to our family of food service companies. This company provides customized processing and distribution of poultry, beef and pork products, complimenting our line of food service distribution in Middle Tennessee.

In April 2008, American Seafood of Memphis, Tennessee was also added to Choice Food Group's family of companies. American Seafood adds access to a full line of seafood products, completing our "center of the plate" meat offerings of poultry, pork and beef.
